Hi,
I'm creating an application that will hopefully allow dynamically created .swf files. I'm a teacher who has created a few flash games. The interface I'm putting together will allow others to create their own versions of the games without using Flash. I've managed to get it working, but when I sent it to someone to test they "it says I must install the 'SWF Generator Active X Object' first". So, does this mean each user has to pay for and download the SWF Generator for my application to work? ??? The other thing I haven't done yet it get a registration code for SWF Generator, having only purchased SWFKit Pro 2.1 today - so I guess this could be related? Any help would be most welcome.

you need to provide an installer that installs the activex object (which is easily done using swfkit)
also you must have registration number in your ffishscript (preferably in your initialize), you will have to email swfkit team for it to work. |

Please look into the "SWFKit Pro Online documentation"->"SWFKit Pro 2 manual"->"Tutories"->"Using ActiveX objectx". The manual introduces sevaral methods to register an ActiveX object in end users' systems.
We recommend the third method: redistribute the swfgen object using setup program. The SWFGen is in "%system%\SWFGen.dll". E.g. "c:\windows\system32\SWFGen.dll", you can redistribute it in any way you like, but don't redistribute the license key we sent to you ![]() |

Thanks for all the help with this - following the guidance in the help files was a complete doddle. All working.
Only thing I now don't think I've successfully done is 'register' my key for SWF Generator. Each time I produce a .swf it has a logo 'TopCMM Software' at the top left. Where should the key be registered?
