Default simple search engine

ok i am new to this so plz be kind, i am trying to do a small search engine to pick out links from a xml file with certain words in the link eg: http://www.doggy.com/ so it would pick it up if you typed in doggy or just do, dog etc...

so is this possible and can you do it as a sample file or give me the code it my sound like a lot to ask for but i have tryed but seems like i dont have a clue.

what you need is just to know a little more about actionscript, especifically string manipulation and xml, why bother making it with swfkit if that is so elemental.

i recommend you visit the collin moock page, he has some great examples there and also a chapther of his book for free . www.moock.org
