produce swf of current frame?

Hey I have some actionscripted movement/animation, I was wondering if its possible to render the current frame and where everything is at at any point in time and render it to a swf, possibly render to multiple frames in that swf?

say i change a movieclips position randomly then want to record the animation as it moves around i want to record the animation in frames. Like can i save a swf area to a file like i can with screencapture and save as jpg??

Im not sure how I can explain this, but what I'm doing at the moment, is letting my actionscript fun then going (in the normal flash player) File > Print the choosing a postscript printer that can save to an eps file then converting eps to swf...

I was thinking that something similar could be acheived by SWFgen and add alot more flexibility and automation in this process?

How about this way:

1. Capturing the movie and saving to a jpg file at a certain frame rate.
2. Producing the output swf file with the jpg sequence by using the MingX component.

i would really prefer to keep vectors...
see I am making a sort of character animation program with an IK system in flash, and was hoping to export to flash/swf as well...

oh well if its not possible it wont happen, was sort of a miniproject =)
