Default code bar reading

hi guys !

i am really getting good with swfkit in some aspects, from a long time ago has been in my mind the idea of developing an aplication in fmx 2004 pro with the help of swfkit 2.1 that can read bar code of course using the appropiate hardware like the laser gun.

in fact i want to get a contract with a company, they have their systems on visual basic 6 and their system cant run on windows xp, but all their hardware keeps very updated, they need to update to windows xp and make some upgrades, here i want to come into the scene

is possible create an application like this with the current version of swfkit ? i have heard that i would need to use a dll or an activex but i dont understand much of this, can you clarify my idea ? pls

If the code bar reading device is connected on the same port as keyboard, you don't need any special code to read code bar. If the code bar reading device is connected on the serial port, we will provide you a serial port reading and writing ActiveX component.

Sorry, we have no code bar input devices.
We will send you the serial port reading and writing component in the next week.

DO you have the VB code about reading the code bar input? We can translate it into SWFKit for you.
