Default SWFkit Content in Browser?

Can SWFkit content be used in a browser (such as in a web page running Internet Explorer 6) and still use SWFkit actions? Is there a plugin I can let my visitors download or certain paramaters I need to enter in my HTML? If this is not possible, will it be in the near future, or won't Macromedia let you publish your own Flash plugin utilizing your scripting?
