Socket receiving

Hello,

I want to have a swfkit exe listening for sockets incoming from webpage made in php.
I have tried lots of tutorials and codes and nothing works.
The php page seems to be ok and send the socket, but the swfkit exe doesn't change at all.( it is configured so that when receiving the socket, puts the content in a textbox).

Please, this is very important and I really need to comunicate between a web page and the local aplication.

P.S.: do I need a server or I could just do it like peer to peer?
