123 Flash Chat Server Software v6.0_2 changes.

123 Flash Chat, the leading community chat software, today released version 6.8.1.

Video Chat enhanced.

Two more settings of the video module:
1) The admin and moderator needs to invite users to initiate video window. (ON/OFF)
By default it's set to "OFF", the management can open video to ordinary users directly without invitation.
2) The ordinary users can turn off the video windows of the admin or moderator. (ON/OFF)
By default it's set to "ON", means the users are authorized to turn off the video window with the management.

Moderator check user's IP, ON/OFF.

This feature now is configurable by the administrator.
By default it's "OFF".

Bug fix

1) Profile function and changenick module are now integrated in following way:
- with changenick module, click "profile" and you'll enter user info management panel.
- without changenick module, click "profile" you will be directed to the profile link the administrator has configured to, instead of the user management panel.

2) Ban user bug is fixed.

Bug Fix: The bug of "Ban IP" is fixed.

1) Basic Approach

After upgrading to v6.0_2 which was released at June 26th, if the "Ban IP" function sometimes is still invalid, you can fix the bug by replacing your old "123flashchat.swf" with this new one.

"Ban IP" Patch 1.

Note: ONLY those who upgraded to v6.0_2 within the period of June 26 to 29, needs to add this patch.

From June 29, the free download demo is already patched.

2) For advanced user

If you're compiled a new SWF after purchasing 123flashchat client source code, you can fix the bug by updating one AS file.

"Ban IP" Patch 2.

Download, uncompress it, and put into your as sub-folder in source code folder, then generate a new SWF.
