Admin Panel
The Admin Panel is greatly enhanced in the following aspects:
1) Language Control
Admin may choose language in the available collection for all the chat users or edit any of them if necessary, not in the language XML file anymore, but in the admin panel directly. The language includes the following sections: main client end, admin panel, avatar chat and MSN bot.
2) YouTube Player Embedded
Admin can add video clip into the chat room so that the chat users may watch the same content while chatting or take it as a topic. The FLV URL can be absolute or relative, and the YouTube video URL must be complete.
3) Room On/Off
Close/Reopen a chat room.
4) Room List Option
For Avatar Chat, admin has an option to make the graphical chat room visible or invisible in the room list, in the latter case, such rooms will only be available in the avatar chat room list.
Chat Client
1) Play the FLV URL or YouTube video in the chat room.
admin panel-> room panel-> choose a room -> edit media, here you can add FLV, MP3 or Youtube link.
2) The value for the "init_room" can now be the room name, in addition to the original room ID.
Chat Server
1) Embedded audio/video chat server is available, based on red5 but modified and enhanced, user can therefore test the video chat and whiteboard function without installing flash media server if the two modules were purchased and activated. Note: Still, if large concurrent users are involved and great performance is pursued, the extra flash media server is still the recommended solution for video and whiteboard modules.
2) The server core code was optimized.
