In addtion to the "change skin" feature,a new feature "change background"is added to 123flashchat. All the skins offer some backgrounds for your end users to choose from, you can design your own background, too. Your new background can be SWF or JPG(non progressive mode) format, and should be in the same folder with the original skin files in directory: <123flashchat_installed_directory>/client/skin/.
The skins include: 1) standard, 2) beige, 3) angel, 4) hawaii, 5) classic, 6) green, 7) red, 8) orange,9) clean. The backgrounds are controlled by skin configuration file: skin.xml. The steps to customize background are:1)Design your backgrounds based on the original background.swf in skin folders.
We recommend you create a new flash file, import the basic background.swf, then lock this layer. Put your own graphic in a new layer. 2)upload the background pictures you created to the same folder with the original skin files:
<123flashchat_installed_directory>/client/skin/ 3)Edit skin.xml in current directory. Find a section like this: "name" is the background name you wanna show your users, "value"is the background filename.
Add a new line for each of your new background.
Then upload the skin.xml. 4)Clear cache and ctrl+F5 to refresh chat-room.
