Smiley added to 123 flash chat.
Animated vector smileys can be added or removed from conversation. The chosen smiley faces will appear at the bottom of the conversation, at maximum one line of smileys can be added.
Auto-detect language.
123 flash chat can now automatically detect the language of user system and assign a corresponding language of 123 flash chat interface to the user.
Custom profile menu.
More than one profile can be attached to user by editing configuration file. Not only the profile link of your own database but also other database can be added.
Invisible admin module.
An optional module is added so that admin can monitor conversation in chatroom invisibly.
Change-nickname module.
change-nickname feature now becoming an optional module. By purchasing it and installing it, admin can enable the feature of changing display nickname. Then user can change display nickname to chat after logged in. Once someone changed nickname, people in the same room will get notification: someone has changed nickname from AAA to BBB.
Auto-create private window.
To automatically create private window with some one in some chatroom, this newly-added interface can be used like this:
"123flashchat.swf?init_user=abc&init_password=abc
&init_room=1&init_private=test&init_private_message=hello"
That means to automatically login chat lobby using this account:
username: abc, password: abc
And enter a room with room id "1". If there's someone named "test" in the room, you will automatically create a private window with him and send message "hello". Of course you can also remove the "init_private_message" part to cancel sending message when creating private window.
User action.
The "/me" command is used to describe an action. Your nickname will automatically be inserted and the text will appear differently than normal channel messages. This command can be used in chat lobby or private messages.
For example: "/me waves goodbye." then it will display on the screen:" waves goodbye."
The "/me" command has to be at the beginning of a sentence to be effective.

Q: Do I need to upgrade?
A: If you are happy with your current version of 123flashchat and you are not interested in the new changes of v4.0 in above list, you don't necessarily have to upgrade to v4.0.
But if you do need the new features and don't mind the pain to re-install it, please email to support(at)123flashchat.com to request upgrade.
